Many clubs have a canteen run by an external company. At VVA, however, we manage our own canteen! This means we get to decide (almost) everything ourselves: the rules, decorations, menu, prices, and more :)

To keep everything running smoothly, we have a Bar Committee and a Bar Manager. On top of that, every member does their part by taking turns working behind the bar. 🥳

Reminders

Be Considerate of the Neighbours

Keep noise on the balcony to a minimum.
The balcony closes at 10:00 PM (no smoking outside after this time either).

Bar Shift Staffing

At least 3 people on duty until 3:00 PM.
At least 4 people on duty from 3:00 PM onwards.

Bar Shift Schedule & Swapping Shifts

As a team, you are responsible for making sure all your shifts are covered and that everyone arrives on time.
No staff = bar closed = no fun for VVA members and visitors = no income.
Has a match been rescheduled? You are responsible for swapping your bar shift and making sure it is covered.

Information about Bar Vouchers for Bartoppers

Because love goes through the stomach (and a well-poured beer), we’re introducing Bar Vouchers for bartoppers 🍺🥪 This applies to taking on extra bar shifts, in addition to the regular team bar duties.

How does it work?

➡️ Filling in on a VVA day → 1 voucher per hour

➡️ External shifts → 2 vouchers per hour (such as during an external event or external rental)

🥤 Each Bar Voucher = a drink or a toasted sandwich (approx. €4)

👉 The vouchers are extra, so they can be used later (not during your bar shift).

🎟️ You will receive the vouchers via the bar committee or bar manager Frans Färber.
